Obverse
On the obverse of the Silver Norse Gods Loki Bar, you will see an image of Loki. Unlike some other figures in Norse myth, Loki is not strongly linked to many fixed symbols. Instead, his most recognizable trait is his ability to change form. Stories describe him becoming a salmon, a mare, a fly, and an old woman, showing how he constantly shifts shape and crosses many different boundaries. The inscriptions here include LOKI.
Reverse
The reverse side of 1 oz Silver Norse Gods Loki Bar displays The Royal Mint emblem at the top. In the center of the design, you will find the key markings of the bar, including details such as weight and purity. A Norse-inspired emblem appears at the bottom of the reverse to tie together the overall theme of the piece. Inscriptions here include THE ROYAL MINT, 1 OZ, 999.9, and FINE SILVER.
History
Lokis role in Norse tradition is especially unusual. He is both a companion to the gods and a blood brother to Odin, while also taking part in events that lead to their downfall. Though he is born a giant rather than one of the Aesir, Loki lives among the gods in Asgard. Many tales show him using his quick thinking and creative solutions to help the gods recover lost items or escape from difficult situations.
